Описание: The EJTN and the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) are pleased to present a three-hour online workshop designed for judges and judicial staff. The session will provide an introduction to the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, with a particular focus on the regime established under the 1958 New York Convention and its pro-enforcement interpretation. Following a short introduction and theoretical overview, participants will engage in small-group discussions led by ICCA facilitators. Working through a practical case scenario, the groups will explore how courts can address requests for enforcement where the public policy exception is invoked. The workshop will conclude with a plenary session in which groups share their findings, compile joint conclusions, and participate in an open Q&A The event will take place online on 18 November and will last half a day, from 14:00 to 17:00 (Brussels time).
